Privacy policy

This policy explains what information WORK IN EDO collects, how we use it, and the control you have over it.

Last updated February 2026

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, location, work history, education, skills, training and any CV you upload. Employers provide company details such as name, industry, address and contact information.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the marketplace: to show you relevant jobs, to let you apply, to send applications to employers, to send job alerts and notifications you have asked for, and to review listings for safety.

Your CV is private

CVs are stored privately. They are never published to the open internet and never given a permanent public link. An employer can only open your CV after you apply to one of their jobs, and only for as long as that application exists.

What employers can see

When you apply to a job, the employer sees the details on your application: your name, contact details, profile information, skills and your CV if you have uploaded one. Employers cannot browse the CVs of people who have not applied to them.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the employers you apply to, and with the service providers who host and secure the platform on our behalf.

Your rights and choices

You can view and edit your profile at any time, delete a CV you have uploaded, turn off job alerts, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us through the contact page to make a request.

Data security

Access to data is controlled at the database level so that people can only reach the records they are entitled to. Files are stored in private storage with authorised access only.

Contact
